Archivas is a decentralized storage network designed as an intelligent "memory layer" for the Web3 ecosystem. Originally launched on the BNB Chain, it has transitioned into its own Layer-1 blockchain. Unlike traditional decentralized storage projects that host arbitrary files, Archivas focuses on "intelligent storage." It prioritizes data with reusable semantic value, such as AI models and research datasets, making it an active repository for high-utility information rather than just a passive cold storage solution.

The core differentiator is the Proof of Intelligent Storage (PoIS) consensus mechanism. While other networks utilize Proof of Space-and-Time or Proof of Replication to store generic data, Archivas rewards nodes specifically for hosting "meaningful" data that can be actively utilized by AI systems. By rewarding the storage of semantically valuable data instead of random bits, Archivas creates a specialized environment optimized for the evolving needs of artificial intelligence and complex data research.

Archivas is designed to be highly accessible and environmentally friendly, utilizing a Proof-of-Space-and-Time (PoST) consensus. One of its most appealing features is that it does not require expensive GPUs or specialized ASIC mining rigs. Users, known as "farmers," can earn rewards by allocating unused hard drive space on standard consumer hardware. This allows individuals to participate in the network using a typical laptop or desktop computer, provided they have sufficient available disk space to support the network's growth.

The RCHV token is the central utility asset of the Archivas network. Its primary uses include serving as the payment method for decentralized storage and data retrieval services, and acting as the reward distributed to node operators (farmers) for providing infrastructure. Additionally, RCHV is used for governance, allowing community members to vote on project proposals. Users can also stake their tokens to help secure the network and earn potential yield, ensuring the ecosystem remains decentralized and robust.

Archivas utilizes a token-burning mechanism to maintain network health and sustainability. A portion of the tokens used for various network interactions—such as storage fees, data retrieval, and governance—is permanently removed from circulation. Furthermore, the project typically operates with a "zero tax" policy on transactions to encourage ecosystem participation. These mechanisms are designed to align the interests of users and node operators while ensuring the token remains a functional component of the network's long-term operational cycle.

RCHV can be traded on prominent cryptocurrency platforms, including LBank and other leading exchanges. Users are encouraged to verify the correct contract address through official channels to ensure security. Regarding its development timeline, Archivas is currently moving through its network growth phases. The project is working toward a full Mainnet production launch, which is targeted for Q3 2026. This upcoming milestone aims to significantly scale the geographic distribution of nodes and enhance the network's capacity for AI-ready data storage.
