LUMI is a digital ambassador inspired by the themes and values of The Little Prince, acting as a storytelling bridge between the classic intellectual property and the Web3 space. The project focuses on emotional connection and character-driven AI within the Virtuals Protocol. While it draws deep inspiration from the timeless IP to create an "agentic" economy experience, it is positioned as a creative tribute and digital evolution of the story's core values, with technical foundations provided by the Virtuals Protocol and Dogalabs.

LUMI is categorized as a "Character Agent" rather than a standard chatbot. Her primary role is to serve as an emotional guide within the ecosystem, facilitating gamified interactions and personalizing communication through advanced AI. She is designed to interact with users to create a unique, narrative-driven experience. While current interactions occur on social platforms, the roadmap includes the deployment of a more sophisticated, fully conversational AI agent to deepen user engagement.

LUMI is designed as a revenue-generating AI agent. The income generated by the agent's various services and ecosystem interactions is utilized to buy back LUMI tokens from the open market. Once purchased, these tokens are "burned" or permanently removed from circulation. This mechanism creates deflationary pressure on the total supply, directly linking the agent's operational success and utility to the token's ecosystem health.

Currently, users can engage with LUMI primarily through social media platforms like X (Twitter) and Telegram. According to the project roadmap, a fully conversational and interactive AI agent experience is scheduled for launch in Q2 2025.
